3 year old American akita. I am putting my beautiful boy rufus up to give him a better life, I live in a small house that is not suited for a dog of his size. Due to unforseen medical concerns I can no longer give rufus the attention or exercise he requires.
Rufus is a big boy with a bubbly personality, better suited to a home with out small children due to his size and boisterous/playful nature. Rufus has never shared a home with any other pet or been around other animals, so unsure how he would react to that situation, however he will chase and bark at cats and birds on walks.
Rufus isn't a fussy eater and loves longs walks and attention. Rufus is a very loving dog and craves attention and affection, he can become distressed and vocal if left alone for long periods.
My greatest wish if for rufus to find a loving forever home that can meet his needs and provide him with the happy life he deserves.
