Meet Livvy – Small and Looking for Her Special Someone 🐾
Little Livvy has had quite the journey. Rescued from a travellers’ site in Portugal, she made her way to the UK at just 18 months old. Since then, she’s had two homes, but sadly she’s been misunderstood along the way. Now, she’s hoping her forever family is out there — one that will see past her worries and give her the chance she truly deserves.
Livvy is a sweet girl with the cutest scruffy coat, weighing in at under 7kgs. She’s full of character, but she does need a calm and understanding environment to feel safe. New people — especially men — can frighten her, and she may react out of fear. With time, patience, and the right approach, she learns to trust, but she’ll need adopters who have the experience and confidence to help her through these fears.
She’s also a little wary of other dogs to begin with, but once she gets to know them, she’s absolutely fine. In fact, she’d likely benefit from a calm, older dog companion in the home to show her the ropes and help her build confidence.
For Livvy, we’re looking for a home where there are no children, where life is peaceful and steady, and where her adopters are committed to working with her gently and consistently. In the right environment, this little girl will blossom, and her loyal and loving nature will shine through.
