Description

Due to my work changing and me having to be away from home for at least a week at a time and my family moving to Norway, where she is illegal unfortunately. I have to find a good home for my baby girl. She is 9 years old is micro chipped and spayed. She is a loving dog, loves kisses and cuddles. Loves to steal blankets and make herself comfortable, loves getting under the duvet with me and sleeps in the crook of my leg. She enjoys her walks, can pull on the lead, but that is my doing. I used to run with her so she assumes everytime we go out now that we are running. Due to being attacked when younger by two dogs she can be very mistrusting of other dogs. She cries like she wants to say hi to them but then wants them out of her space immediately. She does live with another dog (that is moving to Norway as well) but that took time and patience to have that relationship develop. They will lay with each other in bed or on the sofa, but elsa does not really play with the other dog. She can handle being around younger kids, she is currently in a home with my step daughter, and is fine when my young niece and nephew come around. Though personally I would recommend a home with older children as elsa can get protective of those in the home. My partner cannot walk her without me there as elsa becomes vocal on walks and doesn't like people walking near my partner or daughter without me there. I don't know if it's a nervous energy she picks up from my partner or has decided she needs to fill that "protector role" when I'm not around. She knows the basic commands, sit, wait, lay down, leave it, look at me, kiss, hug and big hug. She allows me to take her food bowl when eating and will give me toys when asked. I need to make sure the home she is going to is right for her, so I would want to do a meet and greet first, so I can see how elsa reacts to you and you her. Make sure the initial feeling is right for you both. This is not about money, this about me finding the right home for my baby girl and I can't bring myself to put her in a kennel/rehoming centre.
