I recently took her in to give her a chance at a loving home as her previous owners couldn't keep her and were going to give her to a rescue. She’s a sweet, friendly girl who warmed up immediately - on her first day she was already laying her head in my lap for cuddles. She adores attention, gets along well with my dog (they play and nap together), rides well in the car, and loves meeting new people. She’s very food-motivated, which makes training easier. She has learned to let you know when she needs to go out to toilet, but will need her new owner to keep up house training to ensure it continues.
Her main challenge is a strong fixation on cats, which is why I sadly need to rehome her. She can also whine when left alone and is learning manners like walking to heel and sharing food, but she’s already making progress and shows she’s trainable.
She would thrive in an active, rural home without cats, where she can build confidence and continue learning. With training, she has the potential to become a great companion.
