Description
Hi, I’m Skip.
I’m a 9-year-old Beagle mix, and I am in foster in Surrey. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s how to love with my whole heart. I’m a gentle, quiet soul who lives for cuddles, cozy naps, and the simple joy of being close to someone who cares.
I used to have a home. But when my person passed away, everything changed. Their family didn’t want me… they even tried to put me to sleep. Somehow, I got lucky—I ended up in a shelter instead. Alive, confused, but still holding on to hope.
Now I’m in foster care, learning to feel safe again.
I may be in my golden years, but don’t let that fool you—I still have so much love and life to give. I’m calm, affectionate, and I love being close to people. I’ll follow you from room to room and curl up in your lap like it’s where I’ve always belonged.
I’m also friendly with other dogs and I have a foster sister who I play with.I’d fit in beautifully in a quiet, loving home.
And just so you know—I have a bit of arthritis in my back legs, and the vet says I have an old fracture that healed on its own, likely from my past life. But it doesn’t stop me from doing anything. I get around just fine and enjoy short walks, soft beds, and snuggling more than anything in the world.
What I need now is a forever home where I can spend the rest of my days feeling safe, loved, and cherished.
Could you be the one to give me that second chance?
