My beautiful Nelly is a 14 month old KC registered Great Dane who I have had since she was 12 weeks old. Nelly has been a fabulous pet in so many ways - walks nicely on lead (although if she sees another dog she does get giddy and try pull to meet them and play so strength to handle that is needed), can be left alone for 4-5 hours with no destructive behaviours, toilet trained, crate trained but doesn’t need it, sleeps by herself, travels well in the car, friendly with adults and dogs outside of the home and just a big soft goofball.
However, I am having to rehome Nelly due to conflict in the home with my other dog. The decision breaks my heart but it is best for both Nelly and myself. Nelly would need to go to a child and pet free home (no other dogs, cats, birds or small furries), preferably with an experience in large/giant breed dogs. I adore this girl and I will only let her go to a fantastic home where she can thrive and be the centre of attention without having to share the love or her resources with any other dog.
