⚕ SPAYED: Yes
⭐ CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Gentle, affectionate, shy, friendly
🐕 DOGS: Loves other dogs
🐱 CATS: Good with cats
👶 CHILDREN: Good with dog-savvy children 7+
🐶 Elsie arrived at her hopefully forever home under foster-to-adopt just a few days ago, but family, an older couple, struggle with her young, still puppy, activity levels, they can't follow our advise to sleep in one room with dog a few first nights to help dog to feel safe and of course poor girl is crying at nights, what they don't like. That's what they say about her: " Elsie is a loving dog and likes to please, does require a lot of attention and has lots of energy and can get excitable. She eats well and is house trained but isn't used to her lead and walks, will require training."
💔 Rescue Story
🐶 Elsie was just a tiny pup when she was cruelly abandoned and taken to a brutal high-kill shelter, where dogs are killed by electric current. She was only two months old when rescuers pulled her out—just in time. This sweet girl escaped a dreadful fate and now deserves a life full of love, warmth, and family.
💗 More About Elsie
🐾 Elsie has a soft, sweet nature and a gentle soul. She can be a little shy when faced with new things or people, but she responds beautifully to kindness and patience.
She adores other dogs and is perfectly fine with cats. She is also lovely with gentle children who understand she may need a little time to settle. Having missed out on the usual puppy experiences, she hasn’t yet learned to walk on a lead, and is not used to outdoor walks—but she’s young, eager to bond, and very willing to learn.
With the right family and a bit of patience, Elsie will blossom into the most wonderful, loyal little companion. She has no aggression—just a quiet longing to be loved.
🏡 Ideal Family
Elsie will do best in a loving home with someone around most of the day. A confident resident dog would be a great help in showing her the ropes and helping her build confidence.
She’d love access to a secure garden while she gets used to the world outside. A gentle family with dog-savvy children aged 7+ would be perfect for her.
💖 Why Elsie?
Because she’s survived so much and still trusts. Because her eyes are full of hope. Because she’s a quiet treasure of a dog who’s just waiting for someone to say, “Welcome home.”
⚕ Health Information
Elsie is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
