Description
14.2hh, 19yrs Young, Coloured Cob Gelding
Magnum has been with us for 9 years and has taught both my daughters to ride. He’s a sweet, confidence-giving boy who has done lots of showing, schooling, XC, fun rides, beach trips and hacking. He especially loves his schooling and having a job to do.
Sadly, my daughter has lost interest, so Magnum is only getting out once a week at the moment — he would thrive in a home where he can get out and enjoy life more. He’d be happiest as a lovely, fun hack with regular schooling and the odd fun ride.
Pros
Safe, sensible hack alone or in company
Excellent in all traffic, used to farm machinery
Barefoot, good for farrier, vet & dentist
Lives in or out, very easy to handle and loves fuss
Nice in the school (may give a cheeky bronk if not ridden for a while!)
Comes with tack; local transport possible
Cons
Not keen on his ears being touched, but bridle and headcollar go on fine.
Can do 2 small bronks if not ridden/ schooled for a long time. Its nothing nasty, hes just excited. Then he goes fine.
Doesn't like the clippers, can be clipped without sedation. You just have to do a bit over a few days.
We’re in no rush, the right home is what matters most.
