Description

🐈‍⬛🔮 FAMILIAR SEEKS NEW WITCH – PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL (HERS, NOT YOURS). Meet Luna. A Bombay x domestic short hair. Five years old, spayed, slightly overweight and permanently unimpressed. Luna was originally employed as my familiar, a position she accepted on the understanding that it involved very little actual work. Unfortunately, after five years of service, her contribution to the dark arts has been somewhat disappointing. She has never successfully summoned a demon, shown absolutely no interest in spellcasting and appears to believe that a witch’s familiar is entitled to approximately 22 hours of sleep per day. Her pest-control duties have been equally lacklustre. She will occasionally catch a mouse, presumably as a reminder that she possesses the necessary skills, but generally considers manual labour beneath her. She does, however, excel at sitting ominously in doorways, staring into the middle distance and looking as though she knows something you don’t. Despite her rather formidable appearance, Luna is perfectly sociable. She’s accustomed to children, dogs and livestock, having spent her entire life on a busy farm. She’s particularly fond of Spud, our Jack Russell, who regularly washes her face. She tolerates this indignity with surprising grace. She’s happy to receive affection but rarely goes looking for it. She’s an independent woman who doesn’t require constant reassurance, cuddles or emotional support. Luna is remarkably low maintenance. A comfortable bed, regular meals and the occasional acknowledgement of her existence are generally sufficient. Sadly, due to a change in my health, Luna is now seeking a new position. Ideally, she’d like a witch, wizard or suitably eccentric human who appreciates a slightly mardy black cat with excellent credentials and absolutely no ambition. Previous experience with familiars not required. A sense of humour is essential. Five years’ experience in the occult. Zero confirmed supernatural abilities. Excellent resting witch face. References available, although the coven has declined to comment. Earlier photos are of Luna as a kitten. 🐈‍⬛🖤
