Please note I am not selling as a child's pony although my children often hack her and she's fine especially on roads we don't do more than walk/trot in school and pop an occasional x pole.
She was professionally retrained off lead but is just too stubborn for the kids.
I'll start with the bad she doesn't like schooling much and although perfectly balanced to canter on lunge we can't obtain this for more than a few steps under saddle but that could be the young rider tbf
She will try put a little buck in when in a strop if she knows she can get away with it.
Plenty of good points She is solid as a rock on the roads etc.....
Friendly with mares and geldings, children can lead her, groom,bath & pick feet. She's a great pony to accompany new/fresh horses as she's calm.
She's been in harness and is perfectly comfortable on longrein anywhere even on the road. She's been introduced to a cart backed in etc... however I've not hitched her up for 2 reasons my cart is old & not safe and I'm not knowledgeable enough to take her further.
