With a heavy heart I am looking for Tilly’s new person. She is a stunning little mare, stood at about 12h, with so much show presence.
She needs an owner who either wants to show her inhand or can dedicate time to her daily, time I just don’t have.
I will not be selling her as a children’s pony, she needs an experienced owner.
She can be spooky, her default reaction is to throw a buck in, she takes so much confidence from her person and she really is a one person horse.
She placed in the top two in every show & class last year, normally 1st. Received champ or reserve champ at every show that we attended. No surprise really with her amazing breeding!
She is being sold as a project although she is very well handled, she came to me 2 years ago lightly handled and takes time to trust. She has been to shows, done in hand agility, long reined, lunged tacked up.
She has also been leant over and rode, but she is extremely nervous of this following a baby moment and me coming off, she will take time to build trust back up. For this reason I am not selling her as backed or even green backed, however she is HOYS quality.
She is currently turned away at my friend’s yard, due to a change in my family circumstances. I have not and do not have the time to work with a sensitive youngster now. They have started bringing her in and doing ground work. She has been ponied out and leant over in the last week and gaining more confidence by the day.
