Description
Rosie just turned one. Born januari 2025! This is her correct age, 1 year young now.
And she’s still waiting.
Not because she isn’t beautiful.
Not because she isn’t loving.
But because she is to soft — and soft dogs are often the ones people pass by.
🌸 Her story
Rosie grew up without a mother, without siblings, without safety.
Too young to understand the world, she found herself alone in a public shelter.
To give her comfort, she was placed with two other orphaned pups.
They slept close, shared warmth, and helped each other survive.
That’s how Rosie learned what closeness feels like — quietly, softly, without demands.
Now, in the private shelter, she is safe… Her friends are allready departed,
but her heart is still waiting for something more permanent.
A place where she doesn’t have to be brave anymore.
🐾 What makes Rosie special
Rosie is not loud.
She doesn’t "jump" into your arms.
She doesn’t push herself forward.
She watches.
She waits.
She hopes.
And when she feels safe, she melts into you with the kind of love that feels incredibly pure.
She is affectionate, gentle and kind — a dog for someone who doesn’t need fireworks,
but values connection, softness and trust.
🧬 Appearance & possible mix
Based on her looks, Rosie may have:
Jack Russell–type alertness
a hint of Whippet elegance
and Sheltie-like softness
Her red-and-white coat, fine legs and expressive little face give her a delicate, graceful beauty.
🏡 Rosie’s ideal home
Rosie is looking for something very specific — and very simple:
a calm, loving home
people with patience and gentle energy
a secure, dog-proof garden where she can explore safely
time to settle, without pressure or expectations
optional: a kind, stable dog friend (nice, but not required)
She would do best in a peaceful household without very young children,
where she can grow in confidence at her own pace.
🌟 Why Rosie needs to be seen
Rosie is the kind of dog who will not demand your attention —
but once she trusts you, she will give you her whole heart.
She has waited quietly for a year.
Not because she is less.
But because she is gentle.
And gentle dogs deserve to be chosen too.
