Description
This is Masha, our beautiful 2 year old sprocker spaniel.
Unfortunately due to a change in our circumstances she is at home on her own a lot.
Masha loves to be around people and ideally needs to go somewhere where there are people around most of the time.
She has a lot of energy when out and loves to play, but she will also snuggle and not move all night if you just want to sit and watch a movie.
She is fully housetrained, will sit, lie down and give paw. She is very obedient. She pulls quite a lot on lead and is quite strong for a small dog, but her recall off lead is absolutely excellent, even when there are other dogs about.
Masha would make an excellent gun dog if trained. She retrieves children’s toys and can bring a balloon back without popping it.
She is brilliant with children of all ages and is very gentle around them. She loves cats and lives with 2 with no problems. Her and the younger cat regularly play together. She is very good with other dogs and could happily live with one. We have looked after other dogs while we have had her and she will curl up and sleep with them. She has also been around livestock regularly and does not try to chase them.
Masha has never shown any signs of aggression towards anyone or anything. I have heard her bark less than 10 times in 2 years. She would make a terrible guard dog, but an absolutely excellent companion. Masha will make friends with anyone and will happily stay with other people without issue. As long as she is getting fussed and fed she doesn’t care.
Her coat is quite fine and her body and head don’t take much grooming. Every few months she will need her ears, legs and tail trimming. She’s very good when getting this done and is also very good when giving her a bath and blow drying her after. She will also roll on her back to have her claws clipped if needed.
This is a very sad sale as she is a much loved pet. Please no time wasters and only contact if you’re sure you have the time, space and energy for her.
