This is Derek, our quirky frenchie/olde English bulldogge. He is 9 months old and such a character. We have had him since 8 weeks old and he’s always been pretty good, until recently when he’s started to become a bit aggressive and too much for our other dogs The last thing we want to do is rehome our boy but for the safety of himself and our other dogs we feel we have no choice as we aren’t in a position where we can afford extensive training.
He is brilliant with every other dog, but in the home can be very dominant and very over playful which eventually leads to aggression.
He will need to be the only dog in the home or if you feel you have the knowledge and time to train him to be with another dog then we’d be happy with that too.
He is the most friendly dog with people, loves kids but can get very excited.
He just need loving. He has potential to be the loveliest pet but we just don’t have the time or knowledge to get him out of the behaviours he’s showing.
He also does have cherry eye in both eyes which has come out very recently but it doesn’t cause him any problems, discomfort or pain!
He’s microchipped, vaccinated and has all his flea and worm treatment up to date.
I just want him to go to a home where he can have a bit more attention and can learn how to be a good boy.
