Lexie affectionally known as Lex, is 13 months old, medium size and currently in Atherstone.
This is what he family has to say about her
Lex is a lovely pup, about 1 year old. She has a wonderful temperament, is always friendly and very well behaved around the house.
She is just under 20 kilos, has been spayed and has all vaccinations. Has been flee and worm treated regularly. No medical issues.
She is house trained, once settled can be left for a few hours without anxiety, has been trained to sleep in crate overnight and knows several commands, stay, sit, come, down, fetch etc. She responds well to training and can be trained to avoid some areas (she is currently not allowed upstairs but a stair gate is not necessary).
Lex is eager to learn new things and absolutely loves long walks and has been well behaved off lead with good recall also (she loves to rush back for a treat).
On walks she is well behaved and usually does not pull at all except when very excited in new places and with other dogs, where she is steadily improving but still needs some guidance. She has been progressing well with walking close on loose lead.
She is currently in a phase of jumping up occasionally when excited as she always loves fuss and to play with new people. So some care needed with small children to avoid them being scared or getting inadvertently scratched, and she can also get a little bouncy sometimes around other dogs wanting to play.
Always playful though, Lex has never shown aggression or possessiveness. Lex has regularly been to dog park with 4 to 5 other dogs and is well socialised with dogs and young children.
Lex is a fantastic dog for owners who have time for longer walks and dog activity. She will always happily walk or play, and loves to explore outdoors in fields and countryside. Ideal dog for an explorer.
She seems to have endless energy for running, and loves fetch and retrieval games.
Around the house she is very calm and well mannered (tends to only zoom outdoors) and is happy to doze and play quiet games until time to go out again. Her favourite is hide and seek, where she will endlessly try to 'find it'.
Lex is looking for a new forever home due to family circumstances
