Lulu is a brown jenny donkey, around 11hh. I've owned her since she was a month old. She has lived with horses, but now she is living with her 3 year old donkey pal & loves him. She is happy to be sat on, long reined, harnessed with a snaffle bit - but I never got round to putting her in the cart. We had a mobile farm in Lancashire & Lulu used to travel round with us to visit schools & public events…..she’s been there - seen it - done it!
Bobi Jo is a very pale grey/brown skewbald gelding donkey, around 10hh. I bought him at 6 months old. I’ve not done a lot with him, but he has been handled a lot & is very well behaved too (although he can have his moments purely down to the fact he is only 3). I had him gelded him at 12 months old & he is very easy to handle, but he will take advantage if you let him.
Both good with farrier, easy to box, well behaved in their stable (currently sharing a loose box, but happy to be in separate stables too), easy to catch, no problem to tie up, lead etc etc. Microchipped, wormed & tetanus up to date. They are happy in their stable (I have a hard standing area outside our barn for them in the winter) or outside all summer in the field & are electric fence proof.
I will include all rugs, harness & wooden cart, but won’t sell either the donkeys or the cart separately. Please email for more info/photos.
