We had a male and female chinchilla that loved each other and lived together for many years , sadly our male chinchilla passed ... Lulu has not been the same since .. Lulu just chews her fur now and is unhappy living alone .. if you have lots of time to give Lulu and time out of the cage , please contact me ... my husband and I both work and feel Lulu is not having the life she had when her partner Timmy was alive .. we have decided not to get another chinchilla as the life span wouldn't match Lulus , ( 13 yrs old ) chinchillas can live to 20 yrs when looked after correctly
