Description
Tara đžâ¨ Too Beautiful to Be Forgotten, please think of her....
Some dogs break your heart quietly.
Tara is one of them.
She was rescued from a killing shelter and brought to the safety of a private shelter â and there she has been waiting.
And waiting.
And waitingâŚ
Tara is now just turned 3 years old (estimated date of birth: December 2022), and she has already spent more than 2.5 years of her young life behind kennel bars.
Her entire youth. Gone.
While the world moved on without her.
This should not be happening.
Tara is a dog who lives for her human.
She longs to belong.
She wants to do something for you.
To walk beside you.
To feel a hand on her head.
To matter.
And yet, her days consist of a kennel⌠and sometimes â if sheâs lucky â a short quarter of an hour of attention. A few minutes of being seen. Then back again.
It is heartbreaking to witness. Because Tara has so much love to give.
In the videos, Tara looks so joyful simply because she is finally allowed out of her kennel for a short while. Those few minutes of freedom mean the world to her. Sadly, with hundreds of dogs to care for, these moments are rare, and not long after, Tara is back in her kennel again, still waiting.
⨠Who Tara is:
Tara is a true shepherd-type dog â intelligent, loyal, eager to connect and full of devotion. She doesnât just want a home; she wants a purpose, a bond, her person.
She is the kind of dog who will look at you and say:
âWhat can I do for you?â
She is:
Deeply people-oriented and very intelligent.
Loyal to the core!
Friendly with other dogs.
Sensitive, affectionate and devoted.
A dog who blossoms when she belongs...
A dog like Tara doesnât live for herself â she lives for her human. And that is exactly why her situation is so painfully unfair.
đž Appearance & size:
And then⌠look at her.
Tara is stunning.
A beautiful shepherd mix, likely Belgian Malinois Ă German Shepherdâtype, with an elegant, athletic build and a warm, expressive face.
Shoulder height: approx. 61 cm
Weight: approx. 25 kg
Physique: strong, balanced, graceful
She is power and softness combined â a dog you notice, and never forget.
đł What kind of home does Tara dream of?:
Tara needs structure and connection, people who enjoy doing things with their dog.
She requires a secure, dog-proof garden where she can move, explore and finally feel grass under her paws every single day.
But more than that, she needs her person.
Someone who understands shepherd dogs.
Someone who will include her in daily life.
Someone who will finally let her be what she was meant to be.
She doesnât want to be stored.
She wants to live.
đŤ Her name:
Tara means âstarâ and âsaviourâ, named after Dewi Tara, the Tibetan goddess of compassion.
How painfully fitting....
She is a star who has been left unseen for far too long.
And she is a soul waiting for you to be her saviour.
đ Please⌠see her.
Tara has already lost her youth.
Please donât let her lose her chance at love.
She is ready.
She has always been ready.
Sheâs just been waiting⌠for someone to finally say:
âYou. I choose you.â
