Description
Affectionate, playful, fun loving and easy maintenance. Woozle is a Dachshund with a hint of wire terrier in his DNA which makes his coat very low shed. Born in May 2022 he’s still full of puppy.
He lives with another dog and is easy to care for. He cuddles and snuggles and loves watching TV, anything with dogs - even cartoons - makes him absolutely riveted to the program.
He’s always been fine with visitors and strangers but he doesn’t like them approaching him, he’ll come and snuggle up to them on the sofa but if they go straight to him he gets a bit defensive. He doesn’t like his front nails being trimmed at all but happily has his back ones done. He’s never experienced a baby, toddler or a young child so I wouldn’t recommend homes with young children.
He loves walks and runs but if there’s a hint of moisture in the air he’d rather stay inside - he’s a dashie.
A big change in family circumstances means we can’t travel with two dogs. Price is not important, if you can give him a loving caring and safe home then we’ll happily negotiate the price.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
