š¾ Loving Husky Mix Looking for His Forever Home š¾
This is one of the hardest things Iāve ever had to write.
Iāve had this gorgeous husky mix since he was just 8 weeks old. Heās grown from a fluffy little pup into a strong, intelligent, loving, and high-energy boy. I love him deeply ā but Iāve come to the painful decision that he needs more than I can give him right now.
He deserves space, time, and energy ā the kind I simply donāt have anymore. Rehoming him is breaking my heart, but Iām doing it for him. He needs someone who can give him the life he was meant to have.
š About This Beautiful Boy
Heās a husky mix (not sure what with), with the stunning looks and drive youād expect. Heās full of life and personality, always ready to make you laugh with his antics or show off a new trick. Heās clever ā surprisingly clever ā and learns fast when you engage him. Heās the kind of dog who lights up a room with his presence and leaves a mark on everyone who meets him.
Heās incredibly affectionate, silly, and good-natured. He loves children ā especially my toddler ā and is very gentle and sweet with them. Theyāve grown up together and are thick as thieves. Thatās part of what makes this so hard, but I know in my heart that he needs more than I can offer now.
Heās also great with other dogs. Heās social, friendly, and loves a play session with a mate. I havenāt had him around cats, so I canāt say how heād react, but heās never shown aggression toward animals.
š” What He Needs
Heās not the kind of dog whoāll be content with a short walk and a nap. He needs proper exercise, every day ā long walks, mental stimulation, open space to run. He would thrive in a rural or semi-rural home, ideally with access to a large garden or land.
An active person or family would be perfect ā someone who understands high-energy dogs, preferably with experience handling working breeds like huskies. Heāll reward you with loyalty, affection, and joy in ways only a dog like him can.
š¾ The Good Stuff
⢠Exceptionally loving and loyal
⢠Brilliant with children
⢠Smart and picks up tricks quickly
⢠Sociable with other dogs
⢠Fully vaccinated and microchipped
⢠No known health issues
ā ļø What You Should Know
⢠Not neutered ā He is fully intact, so thatās something youād need to consider if you have other dogs or donāt plan to neuter.
⢠Pulls on the lead ā Walking him can be a challenge. He gets so excited and wants to charge ahead. Iāve tried working on it but havenāt had the consistency or time to really make progress.
⢠Jumps up when excited ā Itās not aggression, just overwhelming happiness. Heās overjoyed to see people and hasnāt quite learned how to express that calmly.
⢠No harness included ā Heāll come with his collar and lead, but no harness.
Heās not a āproblem dogā ā heās just a dog who needs more time and energy than I currently have. With structure and commitment, heāll thrive.
š§³ What Comes With Him
Iām asking for the same amount I paid for him as a puppy ā not to make money, but to make sure he goes to someone serious and invested. So many dogs end up bounced from home to home because people take them on without thinking it through, and I couldnāt bear for that to happen.
This decision hasnāt come lightly. Iāve had him since he was a baby, and heās been part of my family. But I know heās not getting the time, attention, or exercise he truly needs. He deserves someone who can give him what I canāt right now. Thatās the simple, painful truth.
š¬ Get in Touch
If you think you can give this incredible dog the life he deserves ā full of activity, patience, training, and love ā please message me. Iāll want to hear about your setup, your experience, and what kind of home you can provide. Iām not in a rush. Iāll wait for the right person or family.
Please only get in touch if youāre genuinely committed and capable of giving a high-energy dog what he needs. I will ask questions, and I hope youāll understand why.
Thank you for reading. Heās a one-in-a-million kind of dog, and I just want to find the one-in-a-million home he was meant for. š¤
