Very sad sale of my two Pékin bantam flocks due to unexpected loss of land to keep them.
These are my pets and would love for them to go to someone looking for a nice, friendly flock of laying hens with their Cockrel.
Flock 1 consists of 9 hens and 1 Cockrel, he is a very well rounded kind black feathered gentlemen, relatively quiet for a Cockrel and protective of his ladies! The hens are all friendly, regular layers all aged between 1 and 2 years old,
1 Black Cockrel
4 lavender hens
3 gold partridge types (1 more lemon) hens
1 buff hen
1 mottled hen.
Flock 2 consists of 4 hens and 1 cockrel, another kind well rounded gentlemen with impressive tail feathers and a friendly demeanour. The hens are all friendly, still young so no eggs yet, all hatched under hen earlier this year.
1 lavender Cockrel.
3 lavender hens
1 gold partridge hen.
Happy to separate the two flocks but the hens must stay with their seperate cockrels. These are bonded chickens and need to stay together.
All fed on layers pellets with regular vegetables and treats, these chickens live better than I do! Never sick or sorry, no parasites and regular worming (will do a course of worming before they leave).
Could deliver if not too far, would ideally like to discuss their new set up with a new owner, I am devastated to have to sell my animals but loss of somewhere to keep them forces sale. Flock 1 is £120 and flock two is £60, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions. Thank you.
