Description
GCCF-registered British Shorthair kittens, raised with love in our 5 star council licensed, family home.
Our solid blue girl “Jane” is available and ready to leave.
Sadly the home we had reserved for her fell through and she missed out on a whole queue of homes as a result.
Her coat is a beautiful shade of pale blue, is plush, dense and oh so strokable. Her eyes are bright and will develop into a gorgeous amber colour. She has sweet loving nature, she loves attention but isn’t too needy and she’ll make a lovely companion to the right home.
She was very playful with her brother but now he has left seems equally content on her own so we feel she’ll adapt to either being a single pet or as a companion to other pets (though of course with slow careful introduction).
We are based in Cornwall but can transport her for cost of fuel.
She has had two sets of vaccines, been microchipped and health checks at the vets as well as given worm and flea treatment.
Please contact us to arrange a video call.
As a council-inspected (5 star rated) and GCCF-registered breeders, we follow the highest standards of care – unlike unregistered breeders, we do not cut corners when it comes to the health and welfare of our kittens.
Their parents are PKD negative and both registered active with the GCCF. The kittens will be registered “non-active” which means they are full pedigree but not for breeding. They will have printed 5 generation pedigrees where you can look at their family lineage.
Our kittens will leave with:
✔️ GCCF registration (non-active – pet homes only)
✔️ 5 generation pedigree certificate
✔️ 2 full sets of vaccinations
✔️ Microchip
✔️ Vet health check
✔️ 4 weeks petplan insurance
✔️ 2-week supply of KatKin fresh food
✔️ Raised on a premium, high-meat diet
✔️ Socialised in a busy, loving family home
These kittens are confident, affectionate, and used to all the usual household sounds. We are happy to offer ongoing support to new owners and welcome any questions.
Viewings are welcome via live video call, once reserved and vaccinated in-person visits can be arranged.
Prioritising the welfare of our kittens, we only welcome visits once a reservation is in place and after their first vaccination. This allows us to control exposure to potential infections and ensures the kittens remain calm, secure and settled in their environment.
Strictly pet homes only – not for breeding. If you are a council licensed and cat fancy registered breeder you are welcome to discuss kittens on the active register.
If you are genuinely interested in offering one of our kittens a permanent, loving home, please send us a message including the following information:
• Your location (we are based in Cornwall can you travel here?)
• When you are looking to welcome a kitten – are you ready now, or planning ahead?
• Your home circumstances – can you offer a safe, secure and lifelong indoor home? (or secured garden space)
• Your experience with cats or the British Shorthair breed – or will this be your first?
• Confirmation that you understand these kittens are strictly for pet homes only and not for breeding
We will not respond to one word questions or requests for photos (sorry too many weird requests in the past!) all photos will be uploaded here or to our Facebook Page Iris Bluebird Cats.
We are committed to finding the right homes for our kittens, so only serious enquiries will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
