Well, what can I say? To be writing this advert I cannot describe how genuinely heartbroken I am.
This guy is one in a million, he's been my shadow since I got him,he loves the car, people, other dogs, he's been with me every day but I have to admit that he's not living his best life with me and he totally deserves that. I got this guy at 13 weeks to train as my assistance dog, I have several chronic illnesses and the plan was to have him help me with my daily life but my conditions are deteriorating faster than I thought and that means I'm struggling devote the time to train him for what I need, that's not fair on him and it's making me worse.
His ideal home would be one with another dog, someone that's either around a lot or can take him to work, send him to day care etc. He's fine when he's left, I just don't like the thought of him being shut in alone while someone works 9 hours a day. He's great on the lead, knows several commands, he's neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped, covered floor kennel cough. He currently lives with a miniature dachshund and several guinea pigs.He's been around cats and is interested but does no aggression or chase instinct.
Character wise he's an absolute clown, a dream to groom, loves to be sat on the sofa with you but will be fine laid on the floor if you decided not to allow him in the furniture, he will wait to be told. He can be a bit dim at times, her died have some intelligence but it must be pretty deep!
He's never needed any vet treatment, covered by insurance etc. I'm in no immediate rush to re-home him, I will be asking lots of questions so please don't be offended, feel free to ask anything, I can send loads of video and pictures
