Description
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our two beautiful boys: Nico, a blue Oriental, and Finn, a lilac point Siamese. We welcomed them into our home in mid-March to join our three girls, and initially, the integration went smoothly. For a couple of months, they all lived peacefully together. Sadly, tensions have since developed between the boys and the girls, and despite our best efforts to resolve the situation, things have not improved.
We say “bought/rescued” because although we purchased them, it truly felt like a rescue. When we brought them home, Nico was 8 months old and Finn was 7 months, and they had spent their entire lives up to that point confined to a cage. Understandably, they were skittish at first and still occasionally run when approached. However, they’ve made remarkable progress: they now seek out strokes and cuddles, and love spending time with us both during the day and in the evenings.
Nico and Finn are half-brothers (same father) and a bonded pair. They adore playing together and keep each other entertained. Because of their close bond, they must be adopted together, and ideally into a home without other pets.
It breaks our hearts to make this decision, but after weeks of trying to create harmony in our multi-cat household, we believe rehoming them to a loving, peaceful environment is the kindest choice for everyone.
Both boys are healthy and strong. Their vaccinations are up to date, and they are microchipped and neutered.
