Description
This is Evie. She’s a working cocker spaniel who’s just turned 2 . She’s toilet trained and crate trained and is relatively good offload when a whistle is used for recall. I want to be completely honest to ensure that Evie finds a suitable home as she’s extremely hyperactive and after finding out we’re due to have a baby Evie isn’t suitable to be around a new born baby and I’ve got to put the safety of the baby first . Evie is constantly on the go and we’ve found it impossible due to work etc to be able to ever tire her out . She’s very bouncy and will jump up and get extremely excited . She’s good with other dogs and cats she’s in no way aggressive but she also doesn’t listen when trying to keep her calm. Having a newborn around I can’t risk Evie jumping on the baby as she gets her constant zoomies and doesn’t listen and the last thing I want is her crated all the time to keep the baby safe . I’m gutted to let her go but for her to get the life she deeerves she needs someone who can give her a lot of time and a lot of walks to keep her calm and it’s something I’m unfortunately completely unable to do . She has so much hope for being the perfect family dog around larger children she can’t knock over etc . And I’m only willing to have her homed with someone who will keep her forever and meet her needs as that’s the life she deserves just gutted that can’t be with us .
I’m not interested in making any money from her I just want her to find the right home .
