It breaks my heart to be writing this, but after 3–4 wonderful years with my boys, I’ve come to the difficult decision to rehome them. I’m currently pregnant, and with my partner working full time, I’m finding the cleaning and daily care too stressful. They mean the world to me, so I want to make sure they go to the right home.
🐹 Meet Bumble & Mochi
• Both are around 3–4 years old (their birthday is 1st January).
• They came from a Mistley breeder and grew up in Harwich.
• They are brothers but cannot live together – they had to be separated due to fighting.
• Bumble is blind in one eye (likely from birth or possibly a hay poke), but this has never affected his happiness or quality of life.
• Both are healthy, with no issues besides regular nail trimming.
• They love their veggies and are used to premium farm hay and Selective pellets from Amazon.
🌱 What I’m Looking For
• An adult-only home – they’re very special to me, and I don’t want them to go to children.
• Ideally someone with guinea pig experience, or even a guinea pig rescue/sanctuary that gives them lots of love and veggies.
• Proof of experience/care knowledge will be required before I agree to rehome them.
🏡 Extras/Setup
I have cages and accessories, but I need to decide what I can part with, so price will be discussed individually with a suitable new owner.
These boys have been loved and well cared for, and this decision hasn’t been easy. I want them to go somewhere they’ll be just as cherished.
