ALBERT – Labrador retriever (Biscuit coloured)
He born 2014
He is fully health tested.
He is a friendly dog once he gets to know you,
but is very shy around strangers.
From a puppy he refused to walk on a lead. We have no idea why. His brother was fine. We tried walking him with some of our other dogs, tried plying him with treats whilst on walks – but it was so stressful for him we stopped trying.
He has never been socialised with children – and I would think an adult home - perhaps an older couple with a sizeable garden would be best for him.
He is clean inside the house and not destructive, and likes treats. He is a real carb fiend. His favourites are pasta, bread and chips. Yes we know its naughty but he loves them. He doesn’t like rice though.
He has always been a lean Labrador – and drops weight quickly.
He is a lovely dog – and is being re-homed through no fault of his own.
