Description

Having to rehome our 1 year old female dachshund named koda due to our landlord no longer wanting pets in the house so need her gone asap :( We rehomed koda when she was 6 months old, She lived with another dachshund with her previous owners so she’s fine with dogs but has bad anxiety, she doesn’t like to be left alone at home ( if she is left alone she will bark the whole time until someone comes back ). She is crate trained, she sleeps in there at night. She is toilet trained and loves walks. She’s amazing with children, I have a 1 and 3 year old and she loves a cuddle with them. She’s fine with other dogs but not sure about other animals ( cats etc ) Message me if you have any other questions or interested in rehoming her. Want her to go to a loving home.

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
