Crystal White Swift Woodlice (Porcellio laevis Isopods)
Can live between 2-3 years and reach reproductive maturity in 2 months in ideal conditions.
Will eat a wide variety of foods, mine usually have broccoli, zucchini, green beans and carrot. with access to oak leaves, rotten wood, cuttlefish and a occasional treat of freeze dried sprats (which they go mad over, but can smell if they don't finish it in a few days)
Carrot can turn these white coloured woodlice slightly orange tinged, so I'd recommend feeding carrot sparingly if you want to keep them clearly white.
Whilst I try to produce pure white, from time to time juveniles will mature with small grey spots, I endeavour to send all pure white, but I cannot guarantee they mature spot free.
These can also be used in bioactive enclosures with other species.
However I don't recommend them with Stick Insects or Millipedes if you intend to breed those millipedes or stick insects as they may interfere with other insect eggs they find in the soil.
The last picture is what to expect if you receive them via the mail, these are juvenile woodlice. I've packaged them as well as I can in hopes they'll arrive swiftly and safe. I will only be posting Monday to Thursday,
