It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful Ragdoll due to new (human) health reasons - we adore her but sadly can no longer be her home.
Our baby is 4.5 years old and of a sweet and gentle temperament- has never bitten or scratched and I’m not sure she knows how to hiss, although she sometimes growls at the postman before running to hide!!
She is of a sensitive disposition, spooks easily and needs lots of human affection - will need to be the only cat/dog in the house and would not cope with young children (pre-teen).
She’s so affectionate and chatty - she loves having her belly rubbed and lots of scritches - would be an ideal companion for someone who has retired or works from home as she’s a real couch potato… her favourite pastime is birdwatching from the window sill and waiting impatiently for dinner! Has never shown any interest in wet food, only dry, and won’t steal food off your plate, but likes to sniff things and hunt for insects.
She’s neutered and chipped and a fully indoor cat (though enjoys exploring our secure garden and lounging in the shade of the rhubarb). I have walked her on a leash but she is scared of cars so walks don’t last long - the only place she’d run is back into the house and has never tried to escape the garden (or even made it up onto the kitchen counter!).
If needed we could supply you with her cat tree, water fountain, food bowls, little tent etc. Uses paper litter.
