Description
We have had Jiji since he was nine weeks old. We adopted him with his brother and he was welcomed into a home which at the time had a five year old child and a female cat. Jiji had very much settled in to his new home, showing signs of confidence and happiness.
We made an appointment to get Jiji neutered but we found out at the time only one testicle had descended therefore we were advised not to remove the single testicle. He has been vaccinated and we treat him and the other cats with flea and worming regularly.
Due to us living on a road which is commonly used as a cut-through, we keep Jiji and our other cats indoors.
Jiji has begun to show signs of stress in our house. He secludes himself from the other cats and the humans, when he was once sociable, and refuses to use the litter tray, something he was well-versed in beforehand. We have tried using Feliway to calm him, offered plenty of hiding spots and treats, but sadly nothing has worked for him. This is a last resort for us and we hope the person reading this is either a single person or a couple with no children an no other pets, so Jiji can live in a home which is relaxed and calm enough for him to not be stressed.
