Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND NOTE: WE ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL BREEDER AND THE PUPPY IS NOT VIEWABLE WITH HER MOTHER. THERE IS ONLY ONE PUP AVAILABLE - YOU HAVE TO CHECK CERTAIN BOXES IN ORDER TO ADVERTISE A PUP UNDER SIX MONTHS OLD. Here we have a 16 week old puppy who we have had for just about 4 weeks now, born on 5th January 2025. She is a very friendly, inquisitive, affable puppy but needs a firm hand because of the Cane Corso aspect of her lineage. We have taken on a bit more than we are able to manage with her and must look to rehome her as we are not able to meet her needs fully. Neither my hubby nor myself are fully mobile or in the best of health and we feel she would benefit from being rehomed with a family where they are more active and able to assert themselves better to counteract the bullishness of the Cane Corso!! She eats and drinks well and has had no dietary issues since we changed her from kibble to Wainwrights puppy loaf combined with a mixture of poached chicken breast, veggies and boiled eggs - she has a lovely shiny coat because of her well-balanced food and she absolutely loves her food! We were told she has no problem with other dogs in the home.....we have none but we got her from the home she shared with another large dog and her mother. She was the last of a litter of 3 pups, and does seem very anxious when anyone leaves the room and so far, we have not left her alone in the home because of her anxiety. Whilst this is an issue, through reassurance and cuddles she is getting better. She is mostly signaling to go to the toilet outside but does still have accidents in the home. We have had her microchipped and she has had her first vaccinations and flea and worm treatment, next round of vaccinations/flea/worm treatment booked. We have had a long chat with the vet, he has thoroughly checked her over and, whilst recognising that she is an anxious pup, does not feel there is any medical issue behind it. She is good walking on the lead, inquisitive though as all pups are so walks take longer as everything must be investigated! She has a range of chew toys to help with her puppy teeth as well as a small stag bone which she loves. She will come with her large crate and comfy pad (she uses this as a safe haven but does not like the door to be closed), her food bowls, harnesses, toys, lead and car restraint lead. She loves travelling in the car and sits on the seat quite happily with an extra belt latching her into the seat belt....this gives her freedom of movement whilst still being safe. She loves lying in the sun in the garden or on the sand at the beach, is not frightened of other dogs or people when out on a walk though she will have an anxiety wee if someone approaches her who she is unfamiliar with and generally is a very friendly, playful pup. We have just found her particular needs to be a bit too much for us, hence looking for a good home with more active people to fully meet her needs.
