This is Kiwi, our Alexandrian parakeet.
He will be 3 in March 2026
Unfortunately we are reluctantly having to re-home him due to circumstances changing and no longer having the time to look after him and fully tame him.
Kiwi is semi tame, has been handled lots but still needs some work (he is territorial with his cage but is fine out of the cage)
Kiwi wolf whistles, asks “what doing”, whispers “Hello Kiwi”, whispers “Pretty Boy” mimics the dogs barking, whistles “Kiwi” and gives his paw when you ask for it (he loves to act like our dogs)
He is a very happy boy, loves all fruit and veg apart from banana, likes to play with his water and chuck food into it. He loves to fly around and roam outside of his cage.
He wasn’t sexed when purchased in Birmingham however, we have paid for his sexing and confirmed he is Male (I do have paperwork) and he has also started to develop his black ring.
As stated, we are reluctant to sell him but willing to re-home but only to a suitable household who have the time for him.
Viewings are welcome
He will come with his food, cage and any accessories we have for him. We do have a travel bird bag for him also.
