💔 A VERY DIFFICULT POST – LOOKING TO REHOME MY GERMAN SHEPHERD, BEAR 🐾 This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I have to put Bear’s needs first and do what is best for him. ❤️ Due to a recent relationship breakdown and having a disabled child whose needs I have to prioritise, I’ve found myself in a situation where I can no longer give Bear everything he deserves. This decision has not been made lightly, and it absolutely breaks my heart. 🐶 MEET BEAR ❤️ 7-year-old German Shepherd 🐾 Very loving, affectionate and full of character 👧 Good with children 🥩 Requires a grain-free diet 💉 Fully up to date with his vaccinations 🐕 Can socialise with other large dogs 🐾 Very boisterous when playing, so he isn’t suited to smaller dogs 🐈 Has never been around cats 💙 Not neutered 🏡 BEAR’S REHOMING REQUIREMENTS I want to find Bear a home where his needs will be understood and met. Ideally, his new home will offer: 🐾 An experienced owner who understands German Shepherds and their needs. ❤️ Time, love and attention to help him settle and enjoy a happy, secure life. 🏡 A suitable home and environment with enough space and opportunities for exercise, enrichment and play. 🥩 A continued grain-free diet to maintain his current feeding routine. 🐕 Careful consideration around other animals. Bear can socialise with larger dogs, but because he is boisterous during play, a home without smaller dogs would be preferable. He has never been around cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. 👨‍👩‍👧 A suitable family environment where his size, energy and playful nature can be managed safely and responsibly. 🤝 A lifelong commitment. I want a home that will love Bear and care for him for the rest of his life, not just until things become difficult. 💔 WHY I HAVE TO MAKE THIS DECISION This is NOT because Bear isn’t loved or wanted. A recent relationship breakdown, alongside the needs of my disabled child, has left me in a position where I cannot give Bear everything he deserves. My heart is breaking, but I have to put my child’s needs first while also making sure Bear has the best possible future. I will not let him go to just anybody. His happiness, safety and wellbeing are my priority, and I want to make sure the person or family who takes him on is the right fit for him. 📩 PLEASE READ IF YOU THINK YOU COULD OFFER BEAR A HOME If you are genuinely interested in giving Bear the loving forever home he deserves, please send me a private message telling me a little about yourself, your home, your experience with German Shepherds and the kind of life you could offer him. Please don’t just comment “interested” — message me privately so we can have a proper conversation about whether you and Bear would be the right match. I will be asking questions because this decision is heartbreaking, and I need to know that Bear will be safe, loved and cared for. I am looking for the RIGHT home, not just any home, and I will not rush this decision. 🙏 If you cannot offer Bear a home yourself, please share this post or tag someone you trust who may be able to give him the life he deserves. Your share could help me find the perfect person for my boy. ❤️ This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Bear is loved, and he deserves to spend the rest of his life being loved just as much in a home that can meet his needs. 🐾 Please help me find my beautiful boy his forever home. 💔❤️ BEAR WILL BE FREE TO A LOVING HOME NOT £100 - JUST WONT LET ME PUT 0
