Description
Buddy is a sweet, gentle, and loving companion who’s ready to find his new forever home. Friendly and eager to say hello, Buddy lights up when he sees people and settles quickly after his enthusiastic greetings. He absolutely adores head and body rubs, showing only affection and joy in return.
Buddy has lived happily in a quiet home with one person and has coped incredibly well through recent changes, including long periods on his own due to a medical emergency. He remains clean in the house and is content using the garden or going for short walks to do his business. Even when left alone, he’s calm and well-behaved.
He enjoys the company of visiting family, including grandchildren, and has a friendly, easy-going nature with people. He’s used to having access to a garden and likes to spend time outside, although he may bark at passing dogs — especially if his favorite tiny humans are around to protect!
Buddy would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who wants a loyal, affectionate companion. He’s perfect for someone who enjoys quiet days and short, frequent walks. He’s comfortable being left alone for a few hours, is fully house trained, and doesn’t need lots of exercise — just plenty of love and a cozy spot to nap.
A garden would be a bonus, and while he doesn’t need constant company, he’ll be happiest with someone who enjoys spending time with him. Buddy would do best as the only dog for now, though with patience and positive experiences, he may grow more comfortable around other dogs.
