3 year old Hermann tortoise.
I believe Walter is a female. She came into our home early 2023 as a tiny hatchling. She’s super friendly, loves the occasional butt scratch & love being able to roam the house. She gets on well with my dog but I’d advise not having other animals in the house as accidents can happen.
Unfortunately my landlord is selling my house, meaning I am downsizing. Walter has outgrown her tortoise table, and I intended on building a new enclosure by next summer but I will now be moving house in the spring.
Walter will only go to someone who knows how to care for a Hermann tortoise.
She currently lives in a tortoise table with coco coir substrate, UVB light and a heat lamp.

Walter is microchipped and comes with Annex certificate.
I’m really devastated about this situation, so I will be making sure her new owner ticks all the right boxes. I intended on having Walter for the rest of my life & this decision has not been made lightly
