Nigel came into our rescue as a stray and was never claimed. He is a lovely little lad but he'd love a quiet home with only one or two people and NO OTHER PETS. He wants his people to himself but he is ok with other dogs in small doses. Nigel is fully house trained and crate trained. He would love to have someone around for company most of the day, as he loves sitting on your lap and being near you but can be left for a couple of hours.
As with all chihuahuas he does need boundaries and rules as well asLots of love.
He is a typical chihuahua that will protect his loved ones so understanding of the breed is essential. He will need a secure garden and a couple of walks a day. Nigel has been neutered, fully vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms by our rescue. He has also had blood tests and health tests and is in good health. He does get itchy skin but this is easily treated and can be discussed further upon application. He cannot live with kids of any age he is scared of them. He isn't cat friendly so no cats either. He travels well and enjoys his food and would love a couple of gentle walks a day. He will make a super companion for a Chihuahua loving, retiree living alone or a couple.
