Coco is a deeply loving, affectionate little girl who forms incredibly strong bonds with her person. Once she trusts you, she is cuddly, playful, and full of personality. She absolutely loves: 🧸 Squeaky toys (especially crinkly soft ones!), 🎾 Playing fetch — she’s brilliant at bringing the ball back… giving it to you is negotiable 😂, 🚶♀️ Walks in calm environments, 💛 Affection and being close to her human.
Due to a recent relationship breakdown and being in temporary accommodation where pets aren’t allowed, I am heartbroken to say I can’t keep her. I explored fostering, but because of her reactivity, this hasn’t been possible.
She deserves stability, safety, and someone who can help her feel secure long term.
⚠️ Important: Coco Needs an Experienced, Patient Owner!
Coco is very reactive to: People (especially strangers), Other animals, Fireworks and loud bangs, Door knocking, Planes and sudden noises.
Her anxiety has worsened over recent years, particularly after being threatened during a difficult relationship situation. Because of this, she needs:, A calm, adult-only home, No other pets, Someone experienced with reactive or anxious dogs, A quiet area (not a busy street environment), Someone willing to work gently on confidence-building.
She is not aggressive at heart — she is fearful and overwhelmed. With the right person, she blossoms.
🩺 Health Notes: She has two “cauliflower” ears from previous ear problems. She can suffer with itchy, irritated ears and paws. Currently using vet-recommended ear cleaner and paw soak to help manage this. Ongoing ear and allergy management will likely be part of her care.
💛 The Home She Deserves:
Coco needs someone who sees her sensitivity not as a flaw, but as something to protect. She needs someone patient, consistent, and kind — someone who understands that trust with her is earned, but once you have it, you have her whole heart.
