Digby has a sad past. His Spanish family didn't want him any more due to lack of time and he spent most of his life tied up on a chain. However this hasn't affected him badly in any way. He is one of the happiest, most confident and well-balanced little dogs you will ever meet. He went from his original home to a temporary foster home and then had to leave the following foster home since he chased the (very scaredy) cat. Now in his third foster home and he continues to love life. He isn't phased at all by changes. He has lived with dogs in two of the homes and gets on well with them. He has even won over the older grumpy female he's living with now (see video of them under a bed).
He weighs 6kg but has the temperament and the energy levels of a bigger dog. He loves going for long walks on the beach or in the woods and is looking for an active adopter.
He can live with other dogs and dog-savvy cats. He lived with children in his original home and is great with them.
He is a real tonic, such a happy thing, he will make a family very happy.
We think he is a Dachshund/Maltese cross. He is much more handsome in real life, the photos really don't do him justice.
The adoption fee is a contribution towards the (higher) costs of rescuing him including his chip, passport, vaccines, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
He is currently in foster in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
