Hi, thanks for visiting our listing. This is Maple. We recently homed her, a beautiful miniature dachshund. She has a stunning silver dapple coat, really unique markings. She has a wonderful temperament and is doing well with toilet training - currently between a puppy pad and going outside. We are absolutely devastated to have to write this listing, but it turns out our middle daughter is allergic to dogs. She's always been sensitive but usually only around high pollen. We contacted the original breeder but they are unable to take her back. This is not anything we expected after months of looking into adding a pet to our family. Please be sensitive if you message and are interested. An important note, the price is already reduced from the cost we paid and we are not looking to get back our costs. Please only contact if you have genuine interest and an amazing home to take her in. We have spent in excess of another £300 on a puppy pen, food, treats, toys, beds and blankets etc and we are happy to let her be homed with all this too.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
