Nitsa’s story is no longer just about waiting — it’s about growth, courage, and beautiful progress. While her journey of recovery isn’t finished yet, what she has already achieved is truly heart-warming.
Nitsa is a 3.5 year-old Cypriot Pointer cross, around 20 kg, with a gentle nature and kind, thoughtful eyes. Once extremely shy and unsure of the world, she is now blossoming in her foster home, showing more confidence and curiosity every day.
🌱 From Fear to Forward Steps
Nitsa spent the first years of her life surviving — found as a puppy on the streets of Cyprus and then growing up in a shelter for over three years. That lack of safety left her cautious and sensitive, but never broken.
Now in the UK, Nitsa is finally learning what it means to live.
💚 She is developing very well in foster care.
She is no longer the frozen, frightened dog she once was. While she can still be reserved in new situations, she is noticeably braver, more relaxed, and far more engaged with the world around her.
🐕 A Girl Who Loves to Move
One of the biggest and happiest changes?
Nitsa absolutely LOVES going out for walks and runs with her furry friends. 🐾💨
She enjoys:
• Confidently heading out on walks
• Moving at a good pace and exploring her surroundings
• Being part of a doggy group — it gives her reassurance and joy
Because of this, Nitsa could potentially become a lovely companion for activities such as canicross or active walking, once settled and bonded with her adopter. She thrives when she’s moving, supported, and feeling safe alongside her humans and dog friends.

At home, Nitsa is calm, gentle, and easy to live with. She enjoys:
