Say hello to Benji, a big-hearted boy with an even bigger personality! This handsome lad is full of love and loyalty, and he’s looking for an experienced forever home where he can truly shine.
Benji is a gentle, affectionate dog who loves to please. He’s fully house trained and currently lives with another dog – the two of them are best buddies who can often be found playing tug of war together (and Benji is so gentle with his smaller friend 💕). He’s also fine with the resident cat!
True to his protective nature, Benji will let you know when someone’s at the door with a big, confident bark – but around his people, he’s all cuddles and devotion. Out on walks, he’s a dream on the lead and loves keeping an eye on his humans to make sure everyone’s safe and together.
Benji can be reactive around other dogs, so he’s walked with a halti collar for extra control. With the right guidance, patience, and confidence, this clever boy will continue to make great progress.
Because he’s a large, strong breed (and a bit of an escape artist!), Benji needs a secure garden and an experienced owner who understands the needs of big dogs.
