Description
Bruno is a 6yr old bulldog.
He has suffered for his 6 yrs.
Bruno came into rescue as an abused & neglected welfare case.
It was clear to see he had never experienced love, but he now adores cuddles & belly rubs.
Bruno walks really slow, this is due to a serious injury, vets believe this is either due to a horrific beating or being hit by a car & never having received any vet care, due to nerve damage & a lot of pain Bruno’s broken body tried to heal itself & his muscle grew to protect the nerve damage, unfortunately the age of the injury means he can not have any surgery to rectify this. He does walk perfectly on a lead, just slow, he loves short walks & can get on & off the couch but he isn’t too good with stairs.
Bruno was previously posted on here as we pleaded for a foster to give him a chance after he had received zero offers. Unfortunately we had to remove the post & move Bruno into our team members home as he needed surgery to remove half of his rotten & broken teeth, remove a lump & his castration & we wanted him in a home environment to recover
Thankfully all went well & Bruno has had time to recover, but we are praying for a ****************** miracle, we are hoping Bruno can find his forever family.
Bruno is a big lovable lazy lump, he has the goofiest smile & adores cuddles, kisses & belly rubs. He loves his comforts as this is something he was denied all his life, he is easily pleased & happy with warmth, a comfy bed & food. He is a big foodie as he was starved & came into rescue severely emaciated. He sleeps a lot & likes to be lazy. He is a typical old age pensioner
Bruno is a laid back boy, he is dog, child & even cat friendly but we would prefer he has a calm home with no young children or other pets if possible. He likes peace & he deserves all the attention as an only dog after all he has been through
