🐾 Olivia – a gentle little Sheltie / Australian Shepherd mix girl with a golden heart 🐾
Her story:
Olivia was rescued from the public shelter/kill station, where her life was at risk. Luckily, she was saved in time and is now safe in a private shelter, waiting patiently for her own chance at happiness. It’s clear that she doesn’t belong there – Olivia shows in every way that she longs for human warmth and a loving home of her own.

🏷 Type: based on appearance, Olivia seems to be a Sheltie / Australian Shepherd mix, combining the intelligence and charm of a small shepherd with the sweetness of a loyal companion.
Looks & charm:
Olivia is beautifully balanced and feminine, with a black-and-tan coat and white chest that give her a striking tricolour look. Her soft eyes, half-raised ears and gently wagging tail reveal her friendly, attentive nature. She’s compact, elegant and full of gentle character.
Character:
Olivia is a friendly, affectionate girl with a normal, balanced energy level. She enjoys her walks and playtime but also knows how to settle calmly. Like many Sheltie-type dogs, she is intelligent, sensitive and eager to please – a dog who reads her person’s emotions and responds with quiet devotion. She loves human attention, gets along well with other dogs, and would thrive in a kind, reassuring environment where she feels part of the family.
Ideal home:
Olivia would be happiest in a home where there’s plenty of time and affection to share. She would love to be included in daily life – joining for nice walks, relaxing nearby, and being part of the routine. Another friendly dog could be a bonus but isn’t essential; what she truly needs is warmth, understanding and a sense of belonging.

Friends InDeed is a registered charity organization. A home check (sometimes even online) is required before every adoption. We do not place our dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — too many lives depend on us, and we simply cannot be too careful!
To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own private garden and no children under the age of 10. We do not provide working dogs, therapy dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be.
If you adopt OLIVIA, she will live with you as a beloved family companion, cared for and cherished as she truly deserves. You also agree to stay in touch with us so we can support you with any questions or challenges that may arise.
We prefer to communicate via phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to email. It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once. If you like, we can schedule a video call so you can see OLIVIA live before meeting her in person.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives. We are actively involved in the spaying and neutering of stray dogs and in finding them loving forever homes. We reserve the right to ask for a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances. In most cases, our costs are not fully covered.
We stay in touch with all our adopters — now more than 500 families — and can provide excellent references upon request.
