Description
This is my beautiful boy Victor. He is one years old. He’s a typical 100 mile an hour spaniel but does calm down when you’re just chilling at home.
Even though has been trained to a really high standard and knows lots of obedience and tricks he has no recall and his prey drive is really high.
He will need to be worked.
He has won two awards with my daughter for obedience.
He is an absolutely great family pet he loves his people but has become really wary of strangers and is reactive towards them (please bear in mind you are also a stranger to him and he will bark at you which if you aren’t used to reactive dogs might be scary, he can also be reactive to some other dogs.
He was tied up at our daughter’s party in the woods whilst the children ate and a little boy was caught taunting him with a stick and I think this is what started it.
Reason for rehoming him is that I have recently and unexpectedly had two children from the family placed in my care by social services forcing my hand to rehome him as I cannot have a reactive dog with social workers coming to the home and they will place the children elsewhere if he is seen as a risk to them (which he is not) but I can’t take the risk, Victor needs someone with confidence and a time but he is and will continue to be the most loyal dog he’s very fun and playful and will snuggle you to death if you let him.
My preference would be to take him for a weekend or few days see how you get on.
Any questions please feel free to ask.
