Description

Dobby is a jack russel cross King Charles cross Yorkshire terrier. He can be such a loving pup however when we first got him he was so nervous and timid he screamed when I first touched him. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him, however we have tried so hard to help him but we are at a loss. He would do better without young children as he has growled at some of my children (could be that 6 children in a house is just too much for him) I really don’t want to rehome him as he can be such a loving dog but I feel it’s cruel to keep him where he is clearly uncomfortable. We have another dog and they get on well mostly.. as they are a similar age we get the normal dominance scraps but nothing over the top! Dobby pees and cowers if you move too quickly but going down to his level and letting him come to you seems to help. He knows sit and wait but seems scared to learn anything else. He walks well on a lead and for the most part is toilet trained but does sometimes pee in the house (I feel with the right owner to understand him this could be corrected) As both myself and my husband work we don’t have the time to devote to him that I feel would benefit him. I really didn’t want to get to this point but he is clearly not thriving here. Any questions please ask id be happy to answer anything.
