🐾 Lessy is a young 9-month-old smallish-medium-sized (below knee) girl. She is a gentle, shy soul who needs time to trust but blossoms into the sweetest, cuddliest companion once she feels safe.

💔 Rescue Story
🐾 Lessy was saved from an overcrowded kill shelter at just one month old. And was moved to the other shelter with around 180 other dogs. The life there has been tough for her. Bigger dogs bullied her and tried to stop her from reaching food. She lost weight and ended up with wounds on her neck. Thankfully, she was moved to a safer space with smaller dogs, and then to a foster home her injuries have now healed. Despite her difficult start, Lessy has remained a gentle and loving little girl and good with dogs. Very submissive.
🐶 Detailed Information
❤️ Lessy is initially shy and will try to hide when meeting new people. She never shows aggression, only fear. With a little patience, she quickly learns to trust and becomes very affectionate – enjoying cuddles, strokes, and closeness with her person.
❤️ She is calm indoors, stays alone without fuss, and uses puppy pads reliably. She has not yet learned to walk on a lead, so her family will need to gently introduce her to outdoor walks. With her soft, loving nature, she will make progress quickly in a kind and supportive environment.
🏡 Ideal Family
❤️ Lessy would be happiest in a calm and patient home, where she will be given time to settle and gain confidence. She could live as an only dog or with another friendly, non-dominant dog who won’t overwhelm her. A quieter household with older or no children would suit her best, as she values peace and reassurance.
