Description
Wowzers Schnauzers is pleased to announce that we have welcomed a stunning litter of Miniature/Toy Schnauzers from Aggie (s&p) & Toto (red wheaten). They are both Kennel Club registered, DNA health tested and also BVA eye tested clear annually, all health test results will be included in the puppy pack.
We have been vet inspected and hold a current three year licence with a higher five-star rating (25/00082/AWBRE) from our local authority, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council. I have also achieved a OFQUAL level 3 qualification in dog breeding, litter socialisation & welfare and I am certified in canine first aid, microchipping and dog pregnancy ultrasound scanning. We are fully insured and registered with HMRC too.
We are professional home breeders with over 12 years experience in raising puppies. Our adult dogs are beloved family pets first and foremost, looking after their needs and caring for their puppies is a full-time job. Raising healthy puppies with the best temperaments for their new families is always our aim. Most of our Mini Schnauzers come from American bloodlines and have the thick, soft megacoats and the original “lost” colours that are particularly popular there. For more information and pics of our parent doggies and previous puppies please visit our public Facebook page Wowzers Schnauzers, Poodles & Schnoodles.
Our puppies are born in our living room and raised there for the first five weeks, that way we can keep a close eye on their growth and development, there the puppies become associated with all the usual household noises and begin the weaning process. At 6 weeks old, when they're almost fully weaned from mum, they move in to a room just off the kitchen that has easy access to a secure outside area, this is where we start the next phase of toilet training. They then get used to going in the garden and become accustomed to all the typical outside noises, particularly our busy road, they will also enjoy socialising with our other adult dogs and human visitors.
We raise our puppies how we would like them to be. This means they are fully health checked by our vet, BVA eye screened by a specialist eye vet and wormed with Panacur regularly. We will only give first vaccinations of DHP (the core vaccines) as we won’t give our dogs or puppies the Lepto 4 vaccine. Recently it has become very difficult for our new owners to find vaccines that are compatible with our own vet’s, we don’t want our puppies to end up being over-vaccinated at such a young age unnecessarily, so we will only give our pups the first vaccination if it can be confirmed to be compatible with the last vaccination your own vet will administer.
Our pups are weaned on a natural, complete raw diet from Natural Instinct, which we believe is the most biologically appropriate type of food for dogs. We start toilet training early with puppy pads in the whelping pen, then by 6 weeks old we take them outside, at 7 weeks we remove all puppy pads, meaning by the time they leave us they are well on the way to being house trained and dry throughout the night. Puppies can leave us from eight weeks old, which will be October 7th. We are very happy to personally deliver our pups to their new homes if needed (rather than using a pet courier).
We believe socialisation is extremely important, we follow the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) & ESI (Early Scent Introduction) protocols. Our puppies are desensitised to typical sights and sounds in the home and get to meet plenty of people. We begin crate training, take the puppies for car journeys from a young age, handle and groom them regularly, they also learn boundaries and how to play appropriately from interacting with our adult dogs. Our puppies get used to going outside and we show them the busy road outside our home while giving them lots of reassurance. Our aim is to give our puppies the very best start we can. Miniature Schnauzers are known for their confidence, intelligence and laid back nature, these puppies will make brilliant family pets with the correct care and training.

These puppies should be non-fading in colour and have beautiful megacoats which are non-moulting, thick and soft. We do not price our pups based on predicted adult size, but we do sometimes have smaller Mini Schnauzer puppies (known as Toy size), as adults Toys can grow to between 4-6kgs.
Our breed-standard coloured Mini Schnauzer pups are £2000 (including £400 deposit), our chocolate, wheaten and parti coloured Mini Schnauzer pups are £2500 (including £500 deposit). Our deposits are fully refundable if you change your mind after meeting us. The price of our puppies reflects the time, effort and care we take with all of our dogs and their puppies, our costs have also gone up quite considerably more recently.
Viewings are available when the puppies have reached 5 weeks of age, our puppy guide will be emailed to you ahead of your visit to help with any questions. We take lots of photos and videos so you can see your puppy’s progress as they grow and we are always available for support and advice.
