Description

It’s with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our beautiful 4-year-old working Cocker Spaniel. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but we know he deserves a life with more time, attention, and activity than we’re currently able to provide. 🐾 About Him: • Breed: Working Cocker Spaniel • Age: 4 years old • Temperament: Loving, energetic, intelligent • Special Qualities: Incredibly loyal and gentle • Needs: Lots of company, regular exercise, and mental stimulation He is the most loving dog you could meet — deeply affectionate and people-oriented. He thrives on human connection and would be best suited to a home where he can receive one-to-one attention, ideally with someone familiar with the breed’s high energy and need for stimulation. He is fantastic with children — protective and gentle — but we’ve come to believe that living in a household with children causes him anxiety. He struggles to fully relax and seems to feel it’s his job to be on alert at all times. For that reason, we feel he would do better in a calmer home without young children, where he can finally settle and just be a dog. His ideal home would be active, affectionate, and committed to including him as a true part of the family. He would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors and has time to give him the companionship and stimulation he deserves. ⸻ 💬 If you think you could offer him the right home, please get in touch. We’re happy to answer any questions and want to ensure he goes to the best possible place. 📌 A rehoming fee of £200 will apply — this is to ensure he’s going to a loving, responsible home where his needs will be met. Serious and loving enquiries only, please — this decision has not been made lightly.
