Mango is a beautiful Arabian Mau who was rescued from the UAE. She has been with us for 11 months and although she is absolutely lovely, she isn’t gelling well with our home. We have another slightly older cat who she was adopted with the intention of being company for after we lost his brother, but their temperaments aren’t gelling.
Mango is full of energy - she loves being outdoors and hunting and has endless energy. This energy irritates the life out of our older boy, and they fight daily. We have also had to limit Mango’s outside time due to her annoying the neighbours.
She is an absolute lap cat and craves attention, sometimes will give a nip if you stop stroking her. She’s a brilliant cat, but needs to be in the right home.
We’d rather he go straight to a new home rather than back to an adoption centre.
Ideal home;
- rural or plenty of outdoor space with minimum roads
- a patient and experienced cat person who will play with her daily
- she’s absolutely fine with kids, we have two very young children and there haven’t been any issues
- if you have other cats, they’ll need to be sprightly and playful.
- she hasn’t been around large dogs, but gets on fine with my parents chihuahua
